Coming from Harlem, New York, Jalil is a versatile, fun and entertaining artist.
As an adolescent, Jalil’s passion for music developed when he emulated the confidence as well as lyricism of 50 Cent. With additional influence from Joey Badass, Travis Scott, Chief Keef and The Weeknd, Jalil became confident in his talent and storytelling capabilities. In 2017, Jalil generated local buzz with the release of his single “Oscar Proud,” which earned radio play on Power 105.1, Hot 97.1 and Shade 45. Maintaining momentum, in 2018, he dropped the single “Ferris Wheel,” which was featured on Say Cheese, Power 105.1 and Shade 45. Jalil’s other well received singles are “My Block” and “Feelin.”
Additionally, Jalil’s love for creating and undeniable work ethic granted him opportunities to open for influential hip hop figures like Casanova, A Boogie, Don Q and Jay Critch. He also earned press in The Source and ThisIs50. In 2019, Jalil signed with Roc Nation’s independent distribution label, Equity Distro—which distributes his latest single, “Brand New.”
